Back in the days I loved playing RollerCoaster Tycoon 2.
Before that ‐ back in the ’90s - I loved Theme Park. Nowadays I still like that video game genre and when I’m bored on a dark and rainy winter night a round of the modern Parkitect is a good thing to play. I also love real-life1 theme parks, but I feel this post is becoming a bit off the topic here.
Someone who’s using the Internet uploaded a video2 of a maze which barely any park visitor can exit. It’s incredibly simple to build, but the park visitor’s decision algorithm consequently can’t deal with it. The video goes into great details why that is and juggles some numbers. Ten well spent minutes.
